This is the person who walks the job, prices the work and makes sure it gets done right. You meet the homeowner, write the estimate, win the job and then run the site. Pay is $100K+ per year made up of salary plus commission plus bonus, so the better you estimate and close, the more you make.
You are the face of the company on the property and the person the crew answers to on the job. You walk trees with homeowners, put a real number on the work, win the job and then make sure the site runs safe and clean. Your pay is salary plus commission plus bonus, so what you sell and what you deliver both show up in your check.
Look at the trees, the access, the drop zones and the risk, then price the job so it is fair to the customer and profitable for us.
Explain what needs doing and why, answer the hard questions and get the signature. Most people say yes to whoever they trust most.
Make sure the crew has what they need, the plan is clear and the job matches what you sold.
Drop zones controlled, gear checked, yard raked before you leave. The homeowner remembers how the property looked when you pulled out.
Confirm the customer is happy, handle anything left over and bring the paperwork back clean.
You do not need to be an arborist. You need to be able to look at work, price it and be trusted in someone's yard.

A current, valid license is required. You are driving to properties all day.
